There are 735 rooms, the largest resort Hilton runs in the Caribbean and Latin America. Rooms use soft tones that echo the sand and shallow water, with private balconies facing nature or the sea. The 59 suites all have ocean-facing balconies with a living and dining area, and the premium suites include two-bedroom connecting options for families.

Thirteen concept-driven restaurants carry the dining. Maxal cooks Mexican dishes from the peninsula, La Luce is a trattoria with pasta made to order, Auma works an open-fire grill and Noriku does contemporary Asian. Vela is the all-day buffet, Azulinda is the coffee shop and deli, and Cocomar serves ceviche beside the pool.

Eight pools and five jacuzzis share the grounds with a swimmable beach. The Family Zone is set apart, with a kids-only splash pool, a water park playground and a two-storey facility for kids and teens. A fitness center has a yoga studio and spinning room.

It suits families and groups who want a big, self-contained resort on the Tulum coast, 60 miles south of Cancun airport.
