Rooms start at a king bed or two doubles, many of them set up for families, and the Club Tower gives amplified access to the resort's best spots. The Emotions Select suites go further with a one-bedroom suite, a one-bedroom oceanfront suite and a two-bedroom suite with two king beds and a sofa bed. Select guests can use the Mai Tai or Capriccio beach clubs once per stay.

There are eight restaurants and five bars. Silk blends Korean, Chinese, Japanese and Thai cooking, Amalfi brings Italian dishes with a Mexican touch, and Piazzetta dei Forni serves pizza and cocktails under the palms. The Champagne Room offers a French-inspired menu with Moët and Chandon labels, but it is outside the all-inclusive plan, as is Capriccio. Room service carries a surcharge, and tips are not included.

There are more than three pools, and one family pool has no organised activities or music, a calm place for parents with small children. Kids Club takes ages 4 to 12 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with Pirate Day, crafts and cooking classes, and the Teens' Club for ages 12 and up has video games, pool tables and ping-pong. Evenings bring a Pirate Show on Mondays and Mexican Night on Tuesdays. IntraMare Spa offers massages and treatments, and the gym, tennis courts with free lessons and equipment, beach nets and a bike circuit are part of the stay.

It suits families who want a sociable resort with a lot to do, and a pool without a sound system.
