Oasis PalmFamily resort on Cancun's beach with a pirate ship, a river and 13 restaurants

Oasis Palm is the family resort of the Oasis group in Cancun's Hotel Zone, 25 minutes from the airport, with a beach where a pirate ship stays docked at the pier. Pools wind between palms, hammocks hang by the sea, and kids' areas are spread through the grounds.

There are 452 rooms in three types, and each sleeps up to two adults and three children. The Family Suite has two connecting bedrooms, each with air conditioning and a private bathroom, which keeps a family together without booking two rooms.

Thirteen restaurants and thirteen bars spread the dining. Dos Lunas does pizza and pasta, Maki Taco is Japanese-Mexican fusion, Akeru is Oriental, Los Agaves serves Mexican food, Cafe del Mar covers seafood and gourmet snacks, and La Hacienda Food Hall and Bites Food Hall are the international buffets. Children get restaurants of their own, with fun dishes and candy. Cafe del Mar, Glass Bar and Sensoria are for guests 18 and over, which gives parents somewhere to go once the little ones are asleep.

KiddO Zone takes children 4 to 12 under supervision from 9:00 to 17:00. Pirata's Bay has a playground, a pool and the pirate ship, the Yucatán Jurassic River is a lazy river with a dinosaur theme, and The Arcade has family videogames. There is also a mini jacuzzi with a water mushroom and amphitheater movie nights. For adults, Kin Ha Beach Club and Spa and Aaktun Health and Spa handle treatments.
