Splash Water World is the centrepiece, a water park with slides, and one of the pools has a swim-up bar. The RIU Land kids' club runs daily entertainment for the youngest guests.
The Double Standard and the sea-view doubles are 36 square metres, with a balcony or terrace, and connecting doubles let two rooms share a family. The Family Room has two bedrooms across 70 square metres. The 55 square metre Suite adds a hydromassage bathtub, a super king bed and a sofa in a lounge area.
Six restaurants cover the day. The main buffet, Isla Mujeres, has live cooking stations and themed nights three times a week. Kulinarium serves a gourmet, creative a la carte menu at dinner, Pompeya is Italian with pasta and pizza, Bamboo is Asian with woks, and Las Brasas is the steakhouse, with a terrace overlooking the sea. The Grill is the informal lunch spot, in buffet style. Six bars fill in the rest.
For days away from the slides, RIU Fit runs guided classes and the gym is open, while the Renova Spa offers a wide range of treatments. Evenings bring live music and shows, and RIU Party themed nights with music and dancing.
