Seadust Cancun sits on the beach in the Hotel Zone at Boulevard Kukulcan km 16.9, with the Caribbean on one side and the Nichupte Lagoon on the other. The resort splits itself into family and adult sections, so children get the water park and couples get a quieter corner.

The water park is the centrepiece: slides and a pirate ship. There are 14 room types, from Standard Double Suites with two double beds to Family Suites with a separate bunk area for three children. Premium and Ocean Front suites add a hot tub on the balcony, and the Gran Master Suite looks west over the lagoon sunset.

Ten restaurants and ten bars share the plan. The Food Gallery is a marketplace with seven live stations, Florencia bakes wood-fired pizza, Samurai does sushi and teppanyaki, El Maguey cooks regional Mexican food, Lighthouse serves Mediterranean seafood and Manhattan is the deli. Big Ben Wine & Grill, the steakhouse, costs extra. Club Caribe and the Sea Bar are adults-only.

Three infinity pools, a kids pool and a lagoon-view pool fill the days, and the Kids Club takes ages 5 to 12 with treasure hunts, water games and movies. Teens get their own playroom, the spa hangs over the lagoon at the end of a glass bridge, and theatre shows run each evening.

It suits families who want the Hotel Zone and a water park close by, and couples who choose the adult areas.
