Villa del Arco Beach Resort and Spa is a boutique hotel overlooking the El Arco rock formation and Médano Beach, minutes from downtown Cabo San Lucas and the marina. Terracotta suites step down toward the sea around a winding pool, and a pirate ship moored in the water is the centerpiece.

Rooms start at the Deluxe Studio Garden View, which suits small families, couples or up to three adults traveling together. The One Bedroom Suite Garden View gives privacy, with a king-size master bedroom and an adjoining bathroom with an indoor jetted tub, and the Two Bedroom Suite Garden View is built for kids or friends sharing.

Dinner starts at El Patrón Mexican Bistro, with traditional Mexican cooking and a contemporary twist, and moves to Neptune, where sunset cocktails face El Arco and the Sea of Cortez. A South American grill sits beside a dipping pool, a taco bar serves marinated pork, shrimp, fish, beef and chicken tacos, and El Bucanero, the pirate-themed bar, does tacos, wraps, burgers and ceviche beside the ship. Palmita Market and Deli covers sandwiches, smoothies and ice cream. The plan also reaches Bella California and the taco bar and sports bar at Villa del Palmar. Fine cuts, Angus beef, lobster and jumbo shrimp carry a 20% discount but are not included.

The pools, beachfront jacuzzis, fitness center and tennis courts by reservation are included, and there is a spa. The plan must be bought for at least three consecutive days by everyone in the room, with children aged 3 to 12 at 50%.

It suits couples and families who want a small hotel on Medano Beach and a few days of dining without bills.
